For decades, Mount Mary Hospital, under the Diocese of Buea, has been a beacon of hope, providing compassionate and affordable healthcare to thousands of people regardless of their background. Today, as the demand for quality medical services continues to grow, the Diocese is embarking on an ambitious project to transform the hospital into a modern healthcare facility capable of offering enhanced, patient-centered care. This initiative includes the construction of a new Outpatient Department (OPD) complex with consultation rooms, emergency and casualty units, laboratories, pharmacy, maternity services, general wards, private rooms, an electronic lift, and other essential facilities designed to improve access, efficiency, and the quality of care.

Quality healthcare is more than treating illness—it restores dignity, saves lives, strengthens families, and empowers communities. Every mother who receives safe maternity care, every child diagnosed early, every accident victim treated promptly, and every patient who regains hope because of accessible medical services represents a life transformed. By expanding Mount Mary Hospital, the Diocese seeks to ensure that more people, especially the poor and vulnerable, can receive timely and professional medical attention in a safe and welcoming environment.
